How to get started with k.people
1. Make sure you have no demo data left from the free trial account. In order to clean your account select "Start Fresh"
2. Once your account is clear, click on "Getting Started" and follow the 4 steps.
1st step is to import your employees. First you need to download our template. Then once you prepare the file, click "Import employees" and follow the instructions to add your employees to the system.
Tip: Department(s), Location(s), Position Title(s) & reporting lines in Org Chart are created automatically!
Note: the red columns are the only mandatory, though by completing more information you save time from data entry later.
2nd Step is to create time off types
Click on " + Create time Off Type" and follow the instruction. Following that, you can adjust conditions & restrictions for each type, even create accrual policies to help you manage your employees absence.
3rd Step is to add Holidays (optional)
Holidays do not to count as taken days while employees request Time off. You may add Public/Custom Holidays, i.e 1st of January, local holidays, 25th of December etc by clicking "+ New Holiday"
4th Step to invite your employees to k.people by Clicking "Send login Email" or "Copy employee’s URL" to send it separately.
