🚀Release Notes #37 / 5th July 2023

✨ What’s New

Feature #1. Create different “Working hours” schedules

We added new settings options for k.people admin users regarding employee’s working hours. In particular, the admin user can now create employees’ different “working hours” on a weekly basis. The admin user can find “working hours” dashboard under “Organization” in the settings section.

Once the admin user clicks on “Working Hours” a new page appears to create and manage  the company's different working hours types.

To create a working hour type the admin user needs to fill in the name, description and the number of hours an employee works per week.

Once created the admin user can view all available working hours in a table as per all other entities under the “Organization” section in settings.

By clicking the employees number the admin user can see the employees assigned to the specific schedule.

By clicking the pencil  icon the admin user may edit a certain schedule.

Feature #2: 🕟 New field in the employee profile : “Working hours”

The admin user can assign a “working hour” schedule to an employee, by editing the general info in the employee’s profile.  All the available schedules will appear in a drop down in the related field for the admin user to select.

Employees may also view the assigned working hour schedule in their own profile and managers can also see the assigned schedule in their direct reports profiles.

Feature #3: Calendar option “View only my direct reports”

We updated the functionality of the “View only my team” option in the calendar. Now only managers have an available option to view only their direct reports (including themselves). For those employees who don’t have any direct reports, there is no available view.
