🚀Release Notes #28 / 14th Feb 2023

✨ What’s New

Includes the new features that were added during this release.

Feature #1.  Time off balance - Manual Adjustment in balance dashboard

Last sprint we introduced a new functionality for the Admin user to manually adjust the available days of an employee. To be specific the admin user may select a time off type and adjust the employees available days by adding or reducing the number of available days. To do so the Admin user clicks on the 3 dots menu in the employees balance card (Employee profile, tab “time off) and makes the adjustment.

In this sprint we also brought this option to the balance table. Once the admin user views the balance table, when they click on the 3 dots on the right, they have the option to adjust an employee’s available days.

Additionally the admin user now also sees a new column dedicated to balance  adjustments.

On top of these the admin user has also an extra option to view the adjustment history per employee along with any comments. To do so they can click on “History of changes” in the three dots menu in the balance table row or in the balance card in the employee’s profile time off tab.

In case the time off time is “just track” the admin user have the option to adjust upper limit per year per employee i.e if the admin user has already set a time off type for monitor absence due to training reasons with a upper limit of 5 days per year, they can adjust for an employee in case of additional training courses.

Feature #2: Admin to set time off policies per employment duration counted in calendar years.

We introduced further configuration options in the admin user related to time off types. Now the admin user can create a time off policy for employees according to which calendar year their employment is running within the company. For example the admin user can now set policies that says:

-  when employees run their first calendar year they have 20 available days .

- On their second calendar year they have 21 days

- On their third calendar year they have 22 available days.
